Instructor Lead Training (Usually Held on Weekends) Cost: $75 USD Per Person
What you will need for class:
- A safe handgun with at least 50 rounds of ammunition (You should bring a minimum of 150 rounds in case you have trouble on the range) as well as eye and ear safety equipment
- A secure holster. No cross draw or shoulder holsters are allowed. A standard belt holster and belt is required
- Loose fitting clothes and sneakers that are comfortable
Classroom training consist of 8 hours training to include safety, legal issues, etc. You should prepare to be in class a minimum of 8 hours and be on the range for 2 hours so plan on being with the instructor for at least 10 hours.

- Presentation Techniques (drawing your handgun)
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Ammunition
- Proficiency Test (must hit target 28 out of 40 shots fired) That is the NC State requirement.
- Shooting is done from the 3, 5 and 7 yard lines.
DO NOT BRING YOUR FIREARM LOADED OR UNLOADED INTO THE CLASSROOM: IN THE CLASSROOM ONLY TRAINING FIREARMS (BLUE MOCK FIREARMS) ARE USED FOR DEMONSTRATIONS FOR SAFETY REASONS!
